Since I'm resurrecting the Diss and Dat section, I'm resurrecting the Go Fug Yourself comment thread.
This thread is for discussing the Go Fug Yourself site. Since they don't allow comments, feel free to comment on their stuff here. GOOD and bad.

| editor indicates that a letter should be uppercase by marking the letter with an arrow pointing up. I've never seen that before and found it odd. (A triple underline beneath the letter is standard.) <br>I'm glad it's not just me, I felt incredibly geeky for noticing that.
Don't feel geeky; feel superior!
I was worried that I've been using the wrong mark all along. I was also willing to entertain the idea that the super-trendiest editors have their own set of marks.
I always love Britney's letters of fug.
Especially when they're about getting Justin back.
Aww, poor Britters. I hope Justin takes her back, I didn't know that he and Cammy were broken up, and they live happily ever after.
I love the Britney letters, too. They're always very funny and make me like Britney somehow.
Yeah. I loved the one right after she announced her split from Kevin Federline and Jessica wrote:
To Cameron Diaz: Watch yourself. To the World: You're welcome. It just cracked me up. QUOTE (treehouse+Jan 5 2007, 12:07 PM) I love the Britney letters, too. They're always very funny and make me like Britney somehow. Haha that's so true. Jessica's Britney always makes me think, "you know, maybe she isn't that bad." Britney should hire Jessica as her new publicist.
Okay, seriously, I hadn't heard of Justin and Cameron splitting up, either, but apparently it's not like I'm behind or anything. Most of the "reports" I can find on Google are changing who he's dating now every 20 minutes.
Hell, last I heard she had "got her nose done" and they were planning a weekend wedding. These people make it so hard to keep up with them!
Last night I caught the last 10 seconds of one of those Rivers fashion whatever shows for the Golden Globes, and the Fug Girls were there. Good for them. They looked really cute, especially the red-haired one (sorry--I've never seen them before) who was wearing some fab boots.
I tried to watch the next segment to see if they would appear again, but I can't watch those damn programs. It's nothing but commercials every 2 seconds! And the Rivers are not funny. QUOTE (OfficerByrd+Jan 17 2007, 10:30 AM) I tried to watch the next segment to see if they would appear again, but I can't watch those damn programs. It's nothing but commercials every 2 seconds! And the Rivers are not funny. Remember back when Melissa Rosenberg was an MTV personality? She used to crow in interviews about how easy it would've been for her to piggyback on her mother's name and notoriety but she refused to do so. I guess she must've changed her mind at some point.
Okay, I love Jessica and all, but this might be the lamest fugging ever. First of all, for Paris Hilton, that outfit really isn't that bad, and second, tin foil? Really? That's the best you could do?
I agree Gaol Bait. The dress is kind of cute, and Paris wears it well. And I think I need to go lie down now and reconsider my entire life.
Ain't that the truth, Msquared? What a sorry day it is when PH is the best dressed person on the carpet. Plus her legs look rock hard and shapely.
I am not a big fan of lame', so I could see how this dress might be fuggable. It's a little too reminiscent of the eighties. It's not the most horrible dress out there, but it's not great either. That said, I'm surprised the site bothered with it. Probably just because it was Paris wearing it.
I think the shape and cut of the dress itself is actually pretty cute, and I'd probably find it less objectionable if the fabric were just a floral and not a shiny floral. The shiny material makes it look like Kelly's prom dress on Saved by the Bell.
It might have been a worthy fugging if they had been able to come up with something a little funnier to say about that. That smacked of not even trying.
I've just checked GFY for the first time in a couple weeks -- I usually skip all the Fashion Week stuff -- and I think Mandy's dress is really cute. Different, sure, and I'm not sure I care for the shoes, but still. I like it.
The pattern is kind of awful, but the style looks great on Mandy. I can't decide about the belt though. It might work better on a solid dress instead of a pattern. Still, I wouldn't call her out on that. We've all seen much worse.
Does anyone else find Heather's fuggings painfully unfunny? Everytime I start to read a fugging and get bored with the "witty" dialogue, it ends up being Heather's.
I really enjoy Jessica's fuggings, though. Here seem to be much shorter, and infinitely wittier.
it's funny, I'm totally the opposite. If I laugh, it usually ends up that Heather wrote it.
If I had to choose, I'd go with Jessica in a heartbeat, but generally, I like them both. For instance, I quite enjoyed Heather's recent fugging of Imogen Heap, calling her out for trying way, way too hard.
As for this, Kim Stewart's problem is, and always has been, that ridiculous hairdo. I barely notice what she's wearing; the hair is just that distracting. Does she think it helps conceal her fivehead? (Also, who's that guy she's with? He looks vaguely familiar, although I'm thinking he actually looks like someone I know in real life, so I'm guessing that's not him.)
I'm sticking this here because I wasn't sure if I can start a new thread in this section.
It's a DHAK site butThree Way Action has always seemed light hearted. Has anyone here posted there? What did you think? After this entry I'm not thinking I would be too interested in reading other posts there.

I guess I don't understand what the site is about. Is it just a collection of personal blogs?
QUOTE I guess I don't understand what the site is about. Is it just a collection of personal blogs? I'm confused too skittlebrau. Do they just grab stuff and link to it, or do people post there own stuff there? QUOTE (skittlebrau+Feb 18 2007, 03:17 PM) I guess I don't understand what the site is about. Is it just a collection of personal blogs? There's a whole message board that looks fun and surprisingly drama free.
I read the makeup part of the message board there from time to time, and have picked up some good product recommendations there. I've never paid any attention to the bloggy part of the site, though.
The name of the board scares me.
It did me, too, the first time I stumbled across it. I found it through whichever search engine I was using before there was Google, and thought it must have been a mistake. But sure enough, they were talking about MAC there. I decided to just stick with the makeup area and not venture into what might be scarier threads.
