Full Version: EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS

Whoopi! (She is on there now, isn't she?)

Yup, she is, and she's been very good. She plays a rival "ghetto snob" to Chris' mom, and believe it or not, she comes off as very dislikeable! (Which is the idea.)

I also like the Drew character. He's... insecure in a laid-back, shy way. It's interesting, and his subplots are nice counterpoints to Chris'.

I hope people find this show on Mondays.

I just caught up on this season's new episodes last night. A few bits struck me as kinda cartoony -- specifically when Greg penciled on a twirly mustache to feed Chris the detention question during the town-hall meeting. Oh, heck, a lot of the class-president election went way over the top, particularly the notion that kids pay attention at all during speeches and debates. Although I did like the fact that Chris finally found his voice at the end and started showing glimpses of the sort of personality you kind of figure he'd have to develop eventually.

Monday's episode about Chris letting the rumors fly about Whoopi's daughter was a lot better. I'm starting to like the "let me hold a dollar" guy -- his riff on all the other guys trying to get with Tasha was awesome. He's like a Bed-Sty Boomhauer.

I'll put this in here since it's about Chris Rock. Who knew he was prescient?
